Dr Chu Jin Hai hails from the Kluang, Johor. He joined Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, India in 1994 and graduated with Bachelor in Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery in 1999. He entered the government service in 2000 where he did his housemanship in Hospital Muar from 2000-2002. He was then posted to Medical Department Hospital Batu Pahat from 2002-2003. He went on to complete his compulsory service in Medical Department Hospital Sultanah Aminah, Johor Bahru in 2004 before setting up his own private general practice in November 2004 in Taman Universiti, Skudai, Johor.
As his commitment to provide the best healthcare for his patients, he has been continuously upgrading his medical knowledge. Dr Chu obtained his Certificate in Occupational Health from the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health in 2004. He then went on to pursue his Certificate in Basic Ultrasound in Universiti Malaya Medical Centre conducted by the Academy of Family Physician Malaysia from January to November 2006.
Later he updated himself on the field of Dermatology (Skin) when he pursued his studies in Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Care Dermatology from the Academy of Family Physician Malaysia from Jan 2007 to Dec 2007. He then furthers his interest in the field of dermatology when he obtained his Diploma in Family Practice Dermatology from the National University of Singapore in December 2008.
Dr Chu has also been a regular participant of various scientific meetings organised nationwide.
Not resting on his laurels, Dr Chu is currently pursuing his specialist training in General Practice under the auspices of Royal Australian College of General Practice and Academy of Family Physician.
Dr Chu has a special interest in the field of dermatology (skin diseases).
